The day after, the whole building hears about Jen's performance on the show, whilst Roy gets ready to go on his date, deciding to dress like a "bad boy".
Jen still has to go on a date with Daniel, and after Moss recommends a restaurant called "Messigio's", she decides to take him there in the hope of rescuing their relationship. Moss also recommends this place to Roy to take his date, who also agrees to take his date there.

However, it turns out that the posh-sounding "Messigio's" is actually the hectic family restaurant, "Messy Joe's". Jen and Daniel sit in awkward silence, as a clown comes over to their table to tries and cheer them up. Jen tries to make conversation, but Daniel just stares at his food in silent rage.
Meanwhile, in the same restaurant, Roy, dressed as a "bad boy", complete with leather jacket, toothpick, and sunglasses, tries to convince his date that he's a "lonely loner", but she sees right through his facade. Roy, seeing the commotion, and accidentally once again smearing chocolate from his dessert on his forehead, goes over to try and dispel the situation. After Daniel accidentally hits Jen with the clown shoe he was using to beat up the clown, Roy jumps to her defence, earning himself a punch in the face. Roy, with a nosebleed, stands outside the restaurant with Jen.
They notice that Daniel and Rebecca are leaving together, with her trailing behind him as he shouts for her to hurry up. Nope, we have no idea what it means either — before becoming an unlikely hero in a secret club for eight-times winners. This kind of thing never happened to Total Wipeout contestants. No more explanation is required, just watch the clip. The inevitable farce ensues as the pair then attempt to escape security by running up the down escalator. No, we have no idea what he is on about either.
I just wish they would have done series as one box set. Rumor has it that a Christmas special is being made this year and there will hopefully be a series 4 after that. I'll keep buying them for sure! I absolutely love this series. You can watch it on Netflix too. I ordered Season for my dad and the only complaint is that the DVD's arrived without any paperwork even though I checked the box stating they were a gift and I wrote a gift message for each one.

He knew they must be from me because we watched some episodes at my house when he was visiting. His internet connection is not sufficient for streaming video through Netflix or any other online service, thus the reason I purchased the DVD's.
The actors of this British sitcom do a fabulous job and the show has a strange sense of humor but it's so funny. My favorite episode is The Work Outing not sure which season. Yes, we all know Britcoms are brilliant. This one is at the top of that heap. Possibly the best thing I've seen in years. Anyone who has ever tried to get a computer fixed or worked for a large corporation will understand the place this show comes from. It lays bare the absurdity of the rapid rise of the machines, and the inevitable fact that they are, after all, created by, and cared for simple human beings, with all the baggage and anxiety that entails.
Great characters, witty dialog, fun stories. We watched the first season by accident at a friend's place - after the first one we were all so sucked in that we couldn't stop, and stayed up half the night to watch the whole season!

Prime Video Verified Purchase. We laugh so hard that I would be sure to do injury to myself! How I miss shows like this! As bad as those two films were IMO , I thought they stood out and had not heard of them doing a show together Moreso if you miss how funny "Big Bang" USED to be before they "jumped the shark" or "nuked the fridge" in season four.
The more I go back and watch these episodes bought all four seasons since Netflix no longer streams the show , the more I even pick up similarities to a little show called "Seinfeld".
Seinfeld was really the first show on TV that truly perfected the method of finding insanity in the mundane. I find this show, on several occasions, manages to put incredibly mundane situations into the realm of absurdity. I can't recommend this show enough! See all reviews. Get to Know Us.
